LAW 5452 SEC 1 - Technical Protection of Author's Rights

In a world where digital copying technology is ubiquitous, and intellectual property is difficult to enforce, content publishers often turn to technological protection systems, sometimes dubbed "DRM" for "Digital Rights Management" or "CPM" for "Copyright  Protection Measures," to control reproduction, distribution, and use of their creations. This seminar examines the implications of such systems and the laws that govern them, both in the United States and abroad.
