Prof. Barry Friedman, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Professor of Law at New York University School of Law, will present the inaugural UCI Law Raymond Pryke First Amendment Law Lecture.

Friedman's lecture, "Policing Without Permission," celebrates the proposed Raymond Pryke Endowed Chair in First Amendment Law. Once chosen, the UCI Law Pryke Professor would solidify the Law School's teaching and research in First Amendment and Media Law, serving as a national opinion leader in free speech and media law issues.
