PESTICIDES: Domestic and International Perspectives from Science, Law, & Governance April 12-13, 2012
This conference is the 10th in the Toward a Sustainable 21st Century Series, which is a collaboration between a private foundation and the University of California, Irvine aiming to accomplish more together than they can do separately on significant environmental problems impacting society.
April 12: This session will be geared toward the general public with a broad scientific overview of the issues at hand followed by more in-depth discussion of law and governance issues related to pesticide use.
April 13: This session will focus on more detailed case studies and is geared toward those with a specific interest in the sciences.
Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with Lunch and Coffee Breaks provided
